  We visited there last Saturday night. The service was fine. The food on the other hand was bland. We had a party of 7 and we all ordered something different to really try out the place. My fried chicken was good but nothing to write home about and my veggies were so bland like they were dumped right from the can and heated up. My husband had Liver and onions it was horrible tough and full of gristle. The Macaroni and cheese tasted like it was from a box instead of homemade. The chili had little to no taste and was almost watery. The sweet potato casserole was very disappointing . The burger was not worth the price the fries were just okay. All in all it did not live up to the hype a hospital cafeteria has better food and more flavor.

  We were driving down the highway and just took a quick glance at what was available to eat where were at. And we found this place very glad we choose this place. The staff was very friendly and the food was just like mama cooked it. Will definitely go back if we are in the area.

  Very clean and friendly restaurant. The hostest and wait staff were extremely nice and courteous. Portions are generous and hot.

  We were looking for something good to eat. Johnny's was five minutes​ away. We arrived and were seated immediately near a window. I noticed there was a fly or two nearby but they went after another table and did not return to ours (thankfully). We quickly ordered and not long after, our food arrived. Our server was absent from time to time but since we were happy with our food, we did not complain. My selection was the Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad served with a side of coleslaw​ and potato salad. The salad was delectable and provided the nourishment​ I desired. The meal sizes (lunch) were humongous. However, I am giving Johnny's 4/5 stars because the desserts were much smaller than we expected. The slice of key lime pie was tiny by all measures. The chocolate cake, although delicious, was a bit larger but I was expecting a larger slice of cake. In any case, I will visit the restaurant again and skip the dessert.
